Kakuru, Champaign's local experimental subgroup, starts the night off with literally the basics: music. The tone creating "doom drone" group consists of Bryce Robert Hays of Whitershins, Brandon Beachum of Marathon, and Jeremiah Fisher. Comfort Foods provides Champaign-Urbana with a taste of avant jazz, as they recently relocated to Chicago. Yip Deceiver, an "Italo-disco without the Italy" band uses electrofunk and poses as a tag-team dance duo. The night features a variety of music that will keep you dancing, whether it be swaying while starring at the ground or rocking out with synth-pop style.

Spouting Violets, a noise pop "sad core" "shoegazing" group founded in Illinois will begin the night. Thin Gin combines indie rock with electronic music in their collaboration of three musicians: Todd Reese, Bryan Bachman, and Will Newton.
