About Pizza FM

Pizza FM is a free-form, noncommercial, college radio station broadcasted online in partnership with Unit One Living Learning Community at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Our broadcast highlights music, artists, and ideas underexposed by commercial stations and outlets. On top of that, you'll hear in-studio performances, talk, radio dramas, and tons more. The station is located on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus, in the basement of Allen Hall. Every member of the station is a student at the university.

Early work on Pizza FM began in 2011. The station broadcast publicly launched on September 23rd, 2013.

PizzaFM hosted its 10th year anniversary reunion out of Allen Hall/Unit One LLC on September 23rd, 2023. During this reunion, a panel of past and current PizzaFM members spoke about history and future of PizzaFM. This panel can be found here.
