Recap: David Liebe Hart at The Black Sheep, 9.28.12

Ventriloquist David Liebe Hart of Tim & Eric: Awesome Show, Great Job! fame brought his Christian Science and alien-theorist-influenced music to the Black Sheep Café in Springfield over the weekend in the form of a punk rock band, featuring guitarist Adam Papagan and a puppet show featuring an orange cat-thing named Jason. Hart's songs covered a wide-array of topics, including a camp counselor who put poison mushrooms in his clothes and an alien who told him to stop looking at porn. Champaign-Urbana duo Dino Bravo and Springfield Ska band Obi-Wan Kanblo-Mi opened.*All photos by Karl Schroeder
