Yim Yames and friends to release Woody Guthrie tribute album

This February marks the centennial celebration of Woody Guthrie - you know, that guy who wrote every song you ever sang in 4th grade music class - and Paste announced that these guys, "Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel), Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Gob Iron, Uncle Tupelo), Yim Yames (My Morning Jacket, Monsters of Folk), and Anders Parker (Varnaline, Gob Iron)," are taking the initiative on a tribute album entitled New Multitudes on February 8 through Rounder Records.Here's the new single:[soundcloud url="http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/32578906"]
