And, even though Champaign-Urbana isn't necessarily within walking distance of Austin, TX, Mike n' Molly's is hosting a Midwest showcase of its own: MXMW. A send-off to four bands about to venture down to Austin, MXMW also celebrates the release of Grandkids' debut LP Timeshare, out today on Heirship Records (stream it, below). So, you'll hear some new tunes from your local favorites, and some twee-indie-greatness from Wisconsin's Phox, Chicago's Minor Characters, and Philadelphia's Cold Fronts. It's gonna be grand, kids.
