Pygmalion Preview Thursday 9/24/15
HEY do you need help deciding what Pygmalion shows to see tomorrow??11 shows. 4 venues. And only ONE of you. So many decisions to make.(All the shows JUST tomorrow: Paul Doffing, Kenna Mae, Owen, Caleb Cook Band, Cody Lee, Adam Fein, The Fights, Ryley Walker, Whitey Morgan, The Eagle Rock Gospel Signers, and Bully). Now I'm not telling you what to do, and I don't know if I have (ever) given anyone good advice, but I'm just saying that if you want to hang out tomorrow I will be at these two shows.Owen You may recognize Mike Kinsella from American Football (among other bands Kinsella has been a part of). Like American Football, Owen features gentle melodies, acoustic guitar, and meaningful lyrics. Kinsella’s solo project is soulful indie rock, perfect to listen to in the rain or while writing in your dream journal. He recently released the Split EP album with Into It. Over It., featuring songs from both bands.Bully Wrapping up our Thursday night is Bully from 12:15-1:15am at The Iron Post. I’m really looking forward to seeing them because they just released their awesome debut album ‘Feels Like’ in June, which I do recommend you check out. Although it isn’t a girl band (you know I love my girl bands), the lead singer/guitarist is a lovely, grungy woman with a punky voice and lyrics. I think one of my favorite songs from the new album is ‘Too Tough’ which is somehow upbeat, angsty, and catchy all in one! Thank you. Good day. I love you…er *cough* I mean see ya tomorrow.
