First up for the night is AWTHNTKTS; a no nonsense hip-hop group from Iowa City. In late april these guys opened up the Old & Reckless tour in Iowa City, playing alongside Danny Brown and female hip-hop artist Kitty Pryde. Founding member of the group, ION, has been dropping angsty rhymes from the heart for years, finally culminating in the release of his 2011 album Coordinates, and the subsequent formation of AWTHNTKTS. You'll definitely want to get to the show early to check these guys out.
The Struggle takes hip-hop to a much more personal and stripped-down level. With a plethora of guest vocalists, this live-band hip-hop act from Champaign is sure to impress. Be sure to catch them around 11:45 pm.
Booty Trap
Well ladies and gentlemen, this act it somewhat of a toss up. After scouring the darkest corners of the internet for any details on this group, I ultimately came up empty handed. But prepare yourselves, this could be the greatest group to ever set foot on a stage. You have got to be there for this one!

Capping off the night's festivities is young Chicago native Rockie Fresh. Rockie is coming right off of the Maybach Music Group collaboration album Self Made Vol. 3, which just dropped on the seventeenth of this month. His song off of that album, "God Is Great", has an addicting beat and is filled with lyrics that highlight Rockie's rise from self produced musician to a full-fledged rapper signed to Rick Ross' label, MMG. However, Rockie Fresh is no one-trick pony, and is sure to bust out some old tracks that are undoubtedly going to rock the Highdive. With an interesting style of alternatively influenced hip-hop, this is most definitely one show you will not want to miss.
