Jeez, did I miss another week? Awful of me. Now, onto this week:Cut Copy - Free Your MindAfter Zonoscope, which nearly won best electronic album of the year, these guys were destined to keep the stream of music flowing. The album marked the beginning of the era of modern "80's-revival" albums, so it'll be interesting to see where this one takes us. Want to know more? Watch the title track's music video!Mat Zo - Damage ControlMatan Zohar's long awaited debut LP is finally here! It becomes a little risky sometimes for me to post about dance artists, but I can guarantee that this one will catch your ear. A swirling combination of hip-hop, jazz, pop, and big dance tracks all go into this album, and it's really worth a listen! piccit_phuture_doom___phuture_doom__69195020.640x0 Phuture Doom - Phuture Doom LPDOOOOOMMMMMM - Really keeping with the electronic artists this week. Phuture Doom is probably the most elegantly created fusion of metal and bass music I've heard yet, and makes me feel far cooler than I actually am while listening to it on the bus. I avoid using words like "heavy," "bass," and "drop" because I feel like this album isn't necessarily centered around that. Listen to this wicked track called "Black Acid Reign".That's it folks.
