Blood Orange - Cupid DeluxeThis album gained so much momentum using the strange vehicle that is the Internet, before it was even released! The album...not the computer network. They did a great remix for Phoenix back in September and that's what caught my eye. I can't really describe what genre they are, but iTunes calls them "Alternative." Riveting. Check out Chamakay.
SCNTST - Self TherapyOut on Boys Noize records, this past technomancer brings together the best from virtually every genre of modern electronic music into this crazy debut album. I don't have it, but gosh darn do I want it. Electronica, techno, chill, garage, trap, you name it. Definitely my pick of the week. Couldn't find an official youtube upload, but you can still check out "Wavez Change" here. Or there, I guess. <<<over there.
Yo Gotti - I AmMay not be on your heavy plays this week, but hey, this is a music blog! Yo Gotti, described as "southern rap" is back with his fourth studio.
