Morr Music reissues Dump LPs

Berlin label Morr Music (Seabear, Mum, Radical Face) is reissuing the first two LPs from Yo La Tengo bassist James McNew (AKA Dump). Released in 1993 and 1994 respectively, Superpowerless and I Can Hear Music are available on vinyl for the first time on March 19 and April 16 (also, respectively).McNew focused on achieving a "lo-fi aesthetic" on his LPs, recording almost entirely by himself on a four-track cassette recorder, with the occasional guest contribution by other Yo La Tengo members. He also often used common household items in place of instruments, such as a cardboard box in place of a kick drum.The records will also be available on CD and as digital downloads, and all packages include original artwork, detailed liner notes, and more bonus material.
