Dreams of Being Hip: Being Hip to The Date

It's pretty crazy how many holidays and observances there really are out there on any given date. Take into account birthdays and deaths, and you've got yourself one hell of a wikipedia article. In fact, this article exists here.So how about we, as hipsters, get together today and commemorate those lost in the 2012 Russian flash floods.That, or we could celebrate the Solomon Islands Independence Day, which is today (July 7th).It says they were celebrating independence from the English, just like us good proud American hipsters. So, I guess that must've been quite the blow to the Brits. Probably not as much as America, but Solomon Islands you're my bro' because of that.So check out July 8th's Wikipedia page and find something hip to celebrate on Monday.And, that's why this week's dream of being hip is to celebrate the Independence Day for the Solomon Islands.
