Dreams of Being Hip: Bandcamp

I don't listen to music much anymore. But when I do, I usually check out local stuff, or things that are really old. When it comes to local stuff, I just go to Bandcamp.

Bandcamp is great. I love how I can download music and if I don't like it, I don't sweat it because I got it for free. When I love a band, I can donate to them on Bandcamp as well.

Because of this, whenever I hear something that I want to download but isn't on Bandcamp, I just have to convince myself that that band isn't as good as I think.

Oh, and previewing music too? That's what I'm talking about. I love that.

Wouldn't it be great if all music was on a donation basis like this? I think we'd all like it more. And, that's why this week's dream of being hip is to have all bands post exclusively to Bandcamp.
