Dirty Projectors announce US tour, new song

Photo credit: Shawn BrackbillLast Fall, Dirty Projectors played one of the best sets I've ever seen at Pygmalion Music Festival (recalling the harmonies of "Beautiful Mother" still gives me chills). The band just scheduled a new US tour, and though the band isn't stopping again in Champaign-Urbana, frontman Dave Longstreth wanted to book two shows at Chicago's Lincoln Hall. According to a press release, Longstreth "wanted to do something special for Chicago since [the band wasn't] able to play a club show there on the last tour."Below, find the full list of tour dates and the B-side to an exclusive 7" the band only released at a show in New York:Dirty Projectors Spring Tour Dates4/19: Portsmouth, NH @ Portsmouth Singer-Songwriter Festival - The Music Hall5/10: Napa, CA @ Bottle Rock Festival5/17-5/19: Gulf Shores, AL @ Hangout Festival5/24-5/27: George, WA @ Sasquatch Festival6/6: Columbia MD: Merriweather Post Pavilion *6/7: Philadelphia, PA @ Mann Center for the Performing Arts *6/8-6/9: New York, NY @ Governor's Ball6/10: Raleigh, NC @ Red Hat Amphitheatre *6/11: Pittsburgh, PA @ Stage AE *6/12: Cleveland, OH @ Beachland Ballroom6/13: Chicago, IL @ Lincoln Hall (Early Show)6/13: Chicago, IL @ Lincoln Hall (Late Show)6/14-6/16: Manchester, TN @ Bonnaroo*with The National
