Upcoming Album: Yann Tiersen

French minimalist/post-modern composer Yann Tiersen (AKA the master behind the Amelie/Goodbye Lenin soundtracks) is releasing his seventh studio LP Skyline on April 17 on ANTI-. His non-soundtrack stuff is much different from what you would think it'd be; it's more pop/rock-influenced than anything else. Apparently, Skyline is a lot happier than his previous release Dust Lane, but according to Tiersen, the subject matter is much darker. Sounds intriguing.
