The Dead Weather Renunite in the Studio, Recording New Songs

 The never-dormant Jack White is apparently getting back together with the Dead Weather to record new songs, and hopefully a new album. The band -- with Jack White on drums, Alison Mosshart (of The Kills) on vocals, Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar, and Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs) on bass -- has been experiencing classic supergroup woes trying to accommodate the members' busy schedules. It seems, though, that it's finally a go. Last week Third Man Records tweeted, "The Dead Weather working on new songs in the studio yesterday... (and searching for bodies)," along with the picture above. The Dead Weather's last album, Sea of Cowards, was released in 2010.
