Stream it: Youth Lagoon - Wondrous Bughouse

He's got a pretty high voice and goofy hair, but gosh darn is Youth Lagoon one of the coolest pop artists out there today. Though sole member Trevor Powers looks like a nerd, he's a nerd with ridiculous musical talent, and his sophomore album Wondrous Bughouse comes out March 5 on Fat Possum. While an incredible and weird record in its own right, NPR refers to it as "one of the most arresting headphone records you'll hear this year," implying two things:1. You might want to listen on the nicest pair of headphones you can muster to enjoy Wondrous Bughouse to the fullest extent.2. There are ten more months this year, and no matter what headphone-centric records come out, this will be one of the best.
