sonnySonny & the Sunsets recently shared the third single from their soon-to-be-released album, Antenna to the Afterworld. This album, out on June 11 via Polyvinyl, draws much of its lyrical inspiration from the recent death of a friend of the band as well as lead singer Sonny Smith's contact with the afterworld through the help from a psychic/medium. Antenna to the Afterworld entertains a musical shift from the band's twangy, country album from last year, Longtime Companion.The band also added more tour dates to their summer excursion. Notable dates in the Midwest include:

  • June 19: Indianapolis, IN at Radio Radio
  • June 20: Detroit, MI at The Lager House
  • June 21: Chicago, IL at Beat Kitchen
