Pizza FM Update!
Tyler and I have been in meetings all week. Yesterday was our first Executive Board meeting of the school year. We mapped out some plans for how the official launch will work as well as set a few key dates. The important key date for all interested is September 22nd. At that point we will officially launch as a 24/7 non-commercial freeform college radio station.The 2013-2014 Pizza FM staff would like to thank everyone who has made this possible: Allen Hall, our indiegogo donators, everyone who came to our shows, everyone who has supported us over the past few years while we tried desperately to get on our feet, and, of course, our good friend Adam, the founder of Pizza FM, who has since graduated and is now living in Georgia.For any U of I students interested in getting involved with Pizza FM, there will be informational meetings held Wednesday the 28th and Thursday the 29th at 8:00 in 161 NOYES.
