New Music Tuesday - 10/15/13

New Music Tuesday's aren't just great for the music that comes out - it's also really phonetically pleasing too. Noo meeuuuusic toooooossstayysss.The Head and The Heart - Let's Be Still These guys who made a quick stop at Champaign's very own Pygmalion Music Festival are following up their first LP with a slgithly larger and fuller record. Let's Be Still honestly sounds a lot like it's predecessor, the self-titled, but it sounds overall more composed, though-out, and mature. Don't know what I'm talking about? Check out this video which is not a car commercial.Cults - Static<- CLICK ON THIS FOR A SURPRISEAnd no, the cd artwork will not have a gif printed on it. Once again, LP #dos for Cults; 'tis the season of 18 months after all these indie bands formed. Their first LP filled their listeners with a child-like wonder with poppy vocals and catchy melodies. Now, those elements are still on this one, but the songs feel more developed and mature on this one. This is a good example of what I mean. Tristen - CavesLast but not leased, we got Tristen with LP#...3! First of all, when you write very acoustic music, it's very noticeable when you switch to a more produced sound (in terms of drums/overall sound), but nevertheless, it still sounds really good. In this case, the production her songs have go deeper into harmony and chords which resonate a lot more. With me at least. Really seals in the flavor. Chheck it out.More Music Out This Week:
