Arcade Fire Announce Work on New Album

A follow up album to 2010's Grammy-winning Album of the Year The Suburbs is in the works. Drummer Jeremy Gara told Ottowa radio station CKCU that the album should be released late next year. Gara also said that although they aim for a late 2013 release, they aren't under any time constraints and that they are "just working on music, and growing beard,s and living at home a lot, and going out to dinner together." So if the album is not out by the end of next year, at least the band will have some beard-cred. via Pitchfork
