A State of Dance 3/16/15 - We're Back, with some Progressive in the House

PizzaFM Blog PostHey everyone, we're back online. I know I may have left a bunch of people out in the cold with these blog posts; long story short, I got overloaded with coursework over the past two weeks and forgot to run these posts in. Posts should be regular from now on, I promise!Basic Solution and I played a kind of housey set last time, but it evolved into a more progressive kind of sound. So we're rolling with that, for our first more broad theme : Progressive. That means house, big room, trance, things in between, possibly some DnB maybe. It's a broad category...but at the same time, you can tell if it's progressive or not. Like, Lift Off by W&W is a little more on the party banger kind of side...whereas Armin Van Buuren with In and Out of Love is more on the progressive ish side, but not really. Y'know what I mean, I hope :) If not, tune in on Monday to get some of our perspectives! One track that's been driving me up the wall with joy is Kap Slap with his single "Let It All Out". By now you might know me, I'm kind of a sucker for good mastering and good melodies, heh. I can't "drop" tracks too well in a mix, per se, but I love mixing tracks into each other. "Let It All Out" is just what I'm looking for when I'm digging around for music, but those vocals are pure magic on top of an already delicious piece of cake. Give it a whirl if you like a good progressive, modern-day vocal track.[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/189298016" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /] Gonna kind of cut it short, since I'm admittedly finishing this post up a bit late.
